At Jelli, we work with some amazing media partners and as a result of those relationships, our Technical Operations team recently took a field trip to Townsquare Media, the third largest owner of radio stations in the US. Townsquare Media's radio stations are part of Expressway from Katz, the programmatic radio marketplace on Jelli SpotPlan. We decided to visit Townsquare Media's Boise office to help them complete their on-boarding process of the Jelli RadioSpot appliance, our SSP (supply-side platform) for radio broadcasters to manage ad operations.
Due to personnel changes and station hardware upgrades, the initial on-boarding process had been delayed, but an in-person visit allowed our team to dive in and get things moving again. Visiting Townsquare helped us better understand their challenges and quickly develop a plan to complete the on-boarding of their stations more easily.
Introducing the Team to Our Partners
Our team is growing quickly and a few of our new employees had never seen a physical Jelli Server installed at a station before this visit. Seeing the technology firsthand and witnessing the positive impact that we have on broadcasters and station personnel was empowering to the team.
Plus, they were able to see some of the newest radio equipment available alongside some really cool legacy devices. It was evident that even in a more traditional setting, technology has still come a long way in a short period of time.

As a team, TechOps provides a wide range of support to Jelli customers. For example, Jelli Appliance on-boarding, troubleshooting, monitoring services, and application support. The team also provides a lot of internal technical support ranging from account configuration to appliance server support. TechOps is a highly technical bunch and are always seeking ways to make processes more efficient through automation and documentation. TechOps wears many hats, which is a big part of what makes the job so rewarding.
