Donald Ngo
Senior Software Engineer
Donald was born in Saigon, Vietnam and came to the United States at just six years old. He grew up in Southern California and attended UC Davis, graduating with degrees in both Computer and Electrical Engineering.
Donald has worked in the Quality Assurance realm for more than thirteen years in various industries ranging from Cloud to Security at big companies and small startups.
In his free time, you’ll find him traveling (he’s been to at least 12 countries outside of America!), spending time with his wife and daughter, or enjoying a good football game.
Random facts:
Speaks conversational Vietnamese and can ask for food and refuge in Spanish.

Phil Kling
Technical Program Manager
Phil is a second generation California native and spent his childhood surfing, skating, riding BMX, and using computers.
The computer thing must have stuck, because in 1981 he replicated the Zork 1 computer game using BASIC programming language. This led to his parents buying him a Trash 90, then Apple 2C, and then an Amiga 500HD. Do you feel like you’re reading Ready Player One, yet?
Phil studied English and American Studies at Cal State Fullerton before moving to Colorado where he worked for a non-profit space research and exploration organization. One of their goals was to construct a bridge to space! Since then, he has spent a lot of time in the tech world working for companies such as Apple and Amazon. He’s a Lean Six Sigma expert!
Random facts:
His first job was on Tom Sawyer's Island at Disneyland and he went to 123 Grateful Dead concerts between January 1990 and July 1995.
What was your first concert?
The final tour date of The Jackson’s Victory Tour at Dodger Stadium in 1984.
Marisa Alan
Senior Customer Success Manager
Marisa began her career as a classroom teacher before transitioning into the EdTech industry. She spent the last ten years working for a startup that strived to provide low cost one-on-one tutoring for all students. She now plans to share her customer success, team building, and leadership skills with all of us at Jelli!
Outside of the normal day-to-day at the office, you’ll find her at a concert with friends, swimming, or enjoying Game of Thrones. Oh, and she will undoubtedly have coffee within reach during all of these activities.
Random Facts:
She will always laugh at a well-timed meme and has a twin sister who is her polar opposite.
