Marketing trends evolve quickly and podcasts are a fun way to keep up with this fast evolution. How else are we supposed to learn about the latest marketing tech, automation tools, and social networks?

We (a.k.a. the Jelli Marketing team) find podcasts to be a great option because we can listen to them in-between meetings or during an afternoon coffee break when we need to reset before diving into a new project. In this blog post, we'll share five of our favorite marketing podcasts that are perfect for brands and advertisers.

Marketing Over Coffee

Each episode of Marketing Over Coffee is about 20 minutes long and they’re all recorded in a local coffee shop. It’s a weekly podcast by EventHero’s VP of Marketing, John J. Wall, and Podcamp’s co-founder, Christopher S. Penn, both of whom do a great job keeping things conversational and casual. Every Thursday they share tips on SEO, social media, copywriting, and other essential marketing tips and tricks.

Math & Magic: Stories From the Frontiers of Advertising

iHeartMedia Chairman and CEO, Bob Pittman, is hosting this new marketing podcast and we can’t get enough. It's no secret that Bob is one of the best marketers around and for the first time, he's sharing his marketing insights with the world. Every Tuesday, Bob sits down with talented disrupters and visionaries to talk about and analyze the math and magic of marketing today. Full disclosure, Jelli is now an iHeartMedia company, but we really do love this podcast!

Sonia Simone, Founding Partner and Chief Content Officer at Coppyblogger Media, hosts this weekly podcast and brings on various experts to chat about their content marketing tips, tricks, and advice.

If you don’t like listening to long podcasts, this quick listen is  the perfect one for you. Each episode is about 5-10 minutes long and they provide great podcast notes if you need a quick way to recap what you heard. Plus, the hosts are true marketing experts. Niel Patel co-founded companies such as Kissmetrics and QuickSprout and his co-host, Eric Siu, is the owner of Single Grain. Their podcasts are quick, actionable, and informative.
